Our traditional Shaving Soap gives you the ultimate luxury of wet shaving, enabling you to create a rich, creamy, and superbly moisturizing lather.

Shaving soaps are the time-tested shaving experience that remains the preferred choice of shaving enthusiasts. It has the long-lasting properties of hard soap, and the moisturising skin caring properties of the cream. Our plant-based formulation has precisely the right amount of natural oils to give you the best of both.

The Shaving Soap refills can be used to replace the soap in our standard jars once it is finished. Or, for a more exclusive look, in one of our hand-crafted wooden shaving bowls or porcelain shaving bowls.

    As all other shaving soaps from Fitjar, Slatteroy performs at an absolute top level. Lathering is extremely easy, protection, slickness and residual slickness are absolutly ashtonishing. I have tried many other brands and must say that I count this soap in the absolute top 3,of not the best. I would describe the scent as mysterious, a bit like bay rum but better than many other typical bay rums.

    I’m with Frankie, I absolutely love Fitjar’s shaving soaps and they are worth paying for to be sent to the U.S. They smell great and lather up so well. And having such sustainable ingredients means a lot to me. It is clear they are a company that cares about service and excellent products.

The Slåtterøy fragrance has in some cases been known to cause wanderlust. Only give this as a gift if you are prepared to travel with them (or want to inspire them to go off on an adventure).

Tempting as it may be to massage the luscious lather all over your face, keep it away from the eye area. Eating it will not make you a more dashing explorer, so let’s reserve it for external use only.
