Received the Melderskin yesterday and shaved with it this morning, using my beloved 1938 Gillette Aristocrat #15. This cream is very soft indeed and needs to be scooped and lathered in a bowl. And WOW – it provides superb lather in no time and the scent is simply out of this world. Very piney and Nordic, masculine as nothing I have tried before. I simply love this and hope that it will become a staple in the Fitjar offering. Love the menthol add also. Well done!!!

A rich and creamy shaving cream that gives a fantastic shave with plenty of glide and cushion. A delightful fragrance and excellent limited edition. I hope this fragrance will be added by Fitjar into their core shaving cream product range in the future:-)

This unique fragrance is a special and beautiful blend of balmy rose damask essential oils and geranium, with middle notes of crisp menthol and undertones of cedar tree and spruce, which is very nice indeed.
I used a koriumug lathering bowl to whip up the lather. The lather was intense, but a great lather, dense, thick and creamy. A little goes a long way with this thirsty cream. The menthol presence is just right too, adds a fresh, subtle kick to the shave. The razor just glides with this slick cream.
The extra highlight is the post shave, effectively the best I have experienced from a shaving cream. I would highly recommend Fitjar Islands shave cream to join any rotation

Excellent shaving cream! Easy to lather, great post shave feeling, and the scent is like nothing else! Imagine roses. Not just one, but a bunch of them. Together. Not the cheap stuff, but real high quality roses, fresh and lushful. And sniff them while walking in a Scandinavian Forest.

Dear Islanders
As you are aware I have been using your shaving creams for a number of years so I was delighted to try Melderskin. I have now used it for a number of days and my feedback is as follows. Firstly, it lathers extremely well, softens the growth and I get a very good shave. However the intense minty/menthol? certainly gives a wake-up shock similar to leaping in an icy pool which no doubt you all do to start your day. Overall I believe this is an excellent product and hope it does well for Fitjar.

Got my order today. Melderskin is just amazing!!! lathers really well. Would really like to see this added to the main products. I usually prefer shaving soaps, so a version of this as a soap would be perfect!
