Folgefonn is a unique fragrance. To some, it feels extremely invigorating and refreshing, for others it is a bit on the sharp side. To the hard core “Mental about menthol” crowd, it may not give the required kick. You just have to try it for yourself, and do tell us how you experience it!
Keep it out of your eyes. No, seriously. Please. Tears will stream uncontrollably. Unless, of course, you want to keep it handy when watching a chick flick and want to seem like you care about what happens to the sickeningly handsome hero of the movie.
Eating it will not make you look any cooler, so let’s reserve it for external use only.

I am very demanding as of the glide, cushioning and post shave effect of a cream / soap for I have a very sensitive and dry skin. I have tested dozens of shaving products and I can say that Fitjar’ shaving cream competes with the very best. Actually, It could be the very best shaving cream that I ever have experienced so far: lather looks like a rich and compact mascarpone, skin is super-slick and safe, skin stays moisturised. Fitjar’s shaving cream is a great achievement.

This is a high quality product which has a surprise lurking – a few minutes into the lathering process, your skin starts to cool and tingle [ very pleasantly !] and a terrifically comfortable shave follows.
The lovely scent lasts for some time as does the tingle !

The Folgefonn gives a lovely “tingle” to the skin a few seconds after applying…..lovely!

I’ve been a long time user of Fitjar creams and recently purchased a ltd ed of Folgefonn with added menthol. All I can say is SUBLIME!!! The efficacy of the Fitjar cream is second to none and this variant with the added menthol is the ultimate spring/summer scent if you like a “cool” shave. It’s not too much to be irritating but enough to feel the cooling effect throughout the entire shave. Let’s hope the ladies add this variant to the regular rotation for us “menthol heads” or at least make it a regular seasonal ltd ed.

A few weeks ago I went ahead and bought myself some more of this cream after having it as part of Island Hopper. This is by far an excellent scent that really reminds me of a windy morning close to the sea at winter. Your skin feels nice and cool, and the scent is so refreshing! It is now a regular part of my rotation of soaps and creams I use.
